Ascelia Pharma is a Swedish biotech company with a focus on orphan oncology treatments. They develop and commercialize novel drugs that address unmet medical needs and have a clear development and market pathway. Currently, Ascelia pharma has two pipeline products, namely Orviglance and Oncoral. Orviglance is a novel contrast agent for MR-Imaging developed to improve the detecting and visualization of focal liver lesions (Including liver metastases – and primary tumors) in patients with reduced kidney function. Oncoral is a daily tablet with an established potent anti-tumor effect – even in difficult to treat cancers with the potential to offer better patient outcomes with improved safety following a daily tablet treatment compared to intravenous high-dose infusions at the hospital.

Seurantalistalla on ollut. Osake romahti muutama v sitten kun 2 graderia olivat tulkinneet samat MRI kuvat eri tavalla eri ajanhetkinä. Tulkinnat piti vetää uusiksi. Firma ajautui hankalaan kierteeseen rahoituksen kanssa post covid romahduksessa. Tämä nyt ulkomuistista. Mutta tuote on varsin niche. Liian niche minulle. Vaikea arvioida mikä markkinan koko. Ja kuinka hyvä tuote siis on. Firman omilla sivuilla sitäpaitsi niin niukasti / vaikeasti etsittävissä tietoa, että passaan.

Ascelia on kokenut monen muun biotec-alan yrityksen tapaan totaalisen kapitulaation, mitä tulee osakekurssiin. On kuitenkin huomioitava, että FDA hyväksyntä on kulman takana, ja vaikka on kyse senttiosakkeesta, ei se kerro itsessään tulevaisuudesta. Ascelia Pharma&apos;s shares rose by more than 5 percent yesterday ahead of the first day of the subscription period for the company&apos;s rights issue, which starts today. Last Friday, Ascelia Pharma published the prospectus for the issue, aiming to raise up to SEK 105 million, with nearly 70 percent of the amount guaranteed. The company participated in an event with HCA Capital yesterday in connection with the issue, where Deputy CEO Julie Waras Brogren explained the background and timing of the capital increase.
