Wes Anderson’s latest film finally hits the silver screen and Goodbye Kansas Studios was one of the VFX vendors.

The premiere of acclaimed director Wes Anderson’s much anticipated film ‘The French Dispatch’ has been delayed ever since the onset of the pandemic. But now it’s finally time for audiences to once again visit the unique and quirky world of the acclaimed American auteur, who has previously given us films like ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ and ‘The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou’.

Goodbye Kansas Studios has received an order to produce a game trailer for a new international customer based in Asia. The project relates to the production of a game cinematic trailer. Production will commence immediately and will be completed in the first quarter of 2022. The total order value amounts to 13.1 million SEK.

Goodbye Kansas Group AB (publ) (“Goodbye Kansas” or the “Company”) has prepared a supplement to the prospectus for a preferential rights issue that was approved by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority on October 4, 2021, and was published by the Company on the same day (“Prospectus”). The supplementary prospectus has been prepared due to Goodbye Kansas renegotiating existing loans and securing new loans, adding a total of SEK 25 million, which was announced in a press release earlier today.

INSIDERINFORMATION: Goodbye Kansas Group AB (publ) (“Goodbye Kansas” or the “Company”) has, in an effort to strengthen the Company’s working capital, renegotiated existing loans and secured new loans, adding a total of SEK 25 million from a group of existing shareholders, closely-related parties and external creditors. Of these loans, a total of SEK 14 million relate to negotiation of existing loans and SEK 11 million are new loans. The loans have a term of 12 months with an option to prolong the credit term of up to SEK 10 million by another 12 months.

Goodbye Kansas Studios has decided to open a pop-up studio in Vancouver, Canada, one of the world’s most important hubs for production of VFX for film and TV. The studio will open in October 2021 and will play an important role in attracting talent and increasing presence where the company’s customers operate. The studio will entirely be financed by VFX-projects and initially only use a work-for-hire model which means that the studio will have a positive impact on the company’s working capital from start.

Two international gaming companies have ordered the production of cinematic game trailers from Goodbye Kansas Studios and the total order value amounts to 13.6 million SEK. Production will commence in October 2021 and will be completed during the first quarter of 2022.

Goodbye Kansas Studios has initiated production of visual effects (VFX) for a well-known drama series. Production has begun and will be completed during the first quarter 2022. The project is for a recurring customer and the order value is expected to amount to SEK 20 million.

Goodbye Kansas Group AB (publ) (“Goodbye Kansas” or the “Company”) published a press release on September 24, 2021, regarding the Company’s fully guaranteed preferential rights issue of approximately SEK 100 million. The press release incorrectly stated that the last day of trading in Goodbye Kansas’ shares including right to receive subscription rights is September 30, 2021. The correct date including right to receive subscription rights is September 29, 2021. The timetable for the rights issue is in other respects unchanged.
