Gränges' interim report for the period January-March 2021 will be published at 07.30 CEST on Thursday, 22 April 2021.

Investors, analysts, and media are invited to a webcasted conference call on Thursday, 22 April 2021, at 10.00 CEST. CEO Johan Menckel and CFO Oskar Hellström will present the report.

The Gränges AB Board of Directors has resolved to convene an Annual General Meeting of shareholders to be held Thursday, 6 May, 2021. More detailed information about the contents of the proposals may be obtained from the complete notice to the Annual General Meeting below.

The notice is expected to be published in the Swedish Official Gazette (Post- och Inrikes Tidningar) and on the company's website within the next few days.

Gränges' Board of Directors has appointed Jörgen Rosengren as new CEO and President in Gränges. Jörgen Rosengren, currently CEO in Bufab - listed on Nasdaq Stock Exchange in Stockholm - will take office at the latest on 1 October 2021. As previously announced, Gränges' current CEO Johan Menckel will leave his post during the third quarter.

Gränges will invest USD 33 million to expand its aluminium casting operations in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to meet the growing demand from North American customers. This investment follows the previous and successful investments in new rolling capacity at the sites in Huntingdon and Newport, Arkansas.

Sustainability is a strong driver and enabler of Gränges' long-term competitiveness and value creation. In 2020 Gränges continued to execute on its ambitious sustainability framework and targets and good progress was achieved for many of the company's sustainability priorities. Highlights include a significant reduction in the company's total carbon emissions, an increased share of sourced recycled aluminium and renewable energy as well as a very high participation rate in the group-wide Code of Conduct and anti-corruption trainings.

A printed version of the Annual and Sustainability Report for 2020 will be available in the end of March and can be ordered at [email protected].

The financial year covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2020.

Gränges has appointed Sofia Hedevåg, currently SVP Sustainability at Gränges AB, to be a member of Gränges' Group Management and report to CEO Johan Menckel. Sofia has since 15 May 2020 been a member of Gränges' extended Group Management. 

SVP Corporate Responsibility & Communication, Camilla Weiner, who has been a member of Gränges' Group Management since 2019, has informed that she will leave Gränges to continue with assignments in her own business.

The changes above will be effectuated from 1 April 2021.

Gränges' production facility in Finspång, Sweden, has successfully achieved a provisional certification against Aluminium Stewardship Initiative's (ASI) Performance Standard.[1)] This was announced by ASI today, see link (https://aluminium-stewardship.org/asi-certifies-granges-facility-against-asi-performance-standard/).
