Nimbus Group AB (publ) is launching Nimbus Connect, a mobile communication hub that uses an app to provide the boat owner with real-time critical data on such aspects as engine status, fuel volumes, battery charge levels and time to next service, but will also alert the owner if something is amiss on board. Nimbus Connect will be premiered at the Stockholm International Boat Show Allt för sjön, which is taking place between 9-12 and 16-19 March.

Nimbus Group AB (publ) has appointed Nautica Mengual as dealer for its boats under the Flipper and Bella brands in Spain. In parallel, Alphayate has been appointed dealer for boats under the Flipper brand in Portugal.

Nautica Mengual is headquartered in Teulada, south of Valencia, Spain, and has been operating commercially in the boat industry since 1987. Nautica Mengual will initially sell Flipper and Bella-branded boats.

Nautika Centar Nava, headquartered in Split, has more than 30 years of experience in the boat industry and its core business comprises sales of boats and chartering as well as sales and service of Volvo Penta engines.

Nimbus Group AB (publ) increased its sales by 25 percent to MSEK 338 (271) during the fourth quarter 2022 due to continued healthy sales. EBITA amounted to MSEK 10.3 (5.6) and the EBITA margin to 3.1 percent (2.1). “During the fourth quarter sales continue to develop well and despite the fact that 2022 was a year with a lot of supply chain disturbances, we increased our sales with 20 percent to approximately MSEK 1,700, which is a new record”, says Jan-Erik Lindström, CEO of Nimbus Group.
