Skanska has signed an additional contract with Andenæs Eiendom to build the next phase of Helgerudkvartalet in Sandvika, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 410M, about SEK 424M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.

Skanska has signed a contract with Statsbygg to build an extension to Ullersmo prison in Kløfta, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 324M, about SEK 335M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.

The extension includes a total of approximately 7,000 square meters of both indoor and outdoor elements of the prison. The project is a collaboration between Skanska Norway Building and Skanska Husfabrikken, which produce modular building elements.

Skanska has signed an agreement with Örebrobostäder on continued cooperation with the Hållstugan block in central Örebro, Sweden. The agreement includes both renovation and production of new apartment buildings and is worth approximately SEK 400 million, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska Sweden in the first quarter of 2023.

Skanska has signed a contract with the College of William and Mary to build a science center in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. The contract is worth USD 79.5M, about SEK 830M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.

The project includes construction of a new 38,000 square meter cutting-edge multi-function teaching and research facility and renovation of the existing 3,000 square meter science center.

Highlights according to segment reporting:
  • Revenue for the quarter amounted to SEK 40.4 billion (44.4); adjusted for currency effects, revenue decreased 19 percent. For the full year, revenue amounted to SEK 161.6 billion (147.6); adjusted for currency effects, revenue was unchanged.

According to Skanska AB's articles of association, holders of Series A shares are entitled to submit requests to the company for conversion of their shares to Series B shares. Such conversion reduces the total number of votes in the company.

In conjunction with a conversion of shares, the company is obliged according to the Swedish Financial Instruments Trading Act (1991:980) to disclose information concerning the change.

Skanska has signed an agreement with AB Kristianstadsbyggen to build six multi-family buildings with 137 apartments and three premises in Östermalms Park, Kristianstad, Sweden. The agreement is worth about SEK 380 million, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska Sweden in the first quarter of 2023.

The construction project is the second stage of a strategic partnership between Skanska and AB Kristianstadsbyggen to transform the old hospital area into an attractive new district with housing and a park.
