The members of the Nomination Committee for Skanska's Annual General Meeting in 2022 have now been appointed.

In accordance with the decision by the Annual General Meeting 2018, Skanska's Nomination Committee shall consist of five members. The members should consist of one representative of each of the four largest shareholders in terms of voting rights that wish to participate in the committee, together with the Chairman of the Skanska Board of Directors.

Skanska has signed an agreement with OBOS to build 121 apartments in Bærum, Norway. The contract is worth approximately NOK 480M, about SEK 475M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the third quarter of 2021.

The project is a pilot in The FutureBuild program in Norway and has high environmental ambitions. There will be high use of eco-friendly solutions that consume little energy and leave as small climate footprint as possible (e.g. low carbon concrete). The overall goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by between 30 and 50 percent.

Skanska announces the resignation of Jayne McGivern from the Board of Directors of Skanska.

Skanska informs that Jayne McGivern will resign as a member of the Board of Directors of Skanska, effective as of 31 August 2021. Ms. McGivern has served on the Board since 2015 and has decided to resign to focus on other professional duties.

Skanska has signed a contract with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments to serve as the contractor for the Fullerton Road Grade Separation Project in City of Industry, Southern California, USA. The contract is worth USD 96M, about SEK 845M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter of 2021.

Skanska invests EUR 69M, about SEK 700M, in the first phase of Studio, an office complex in Warsaw, Poland. The first building will offer a total leasable area of 17,600 square meters and will be 14 stories high.

In conjunction with a conversion of shares, the company is obliged, according to the Financial Instruments Trading Act (1991:980), to disclose information concerning the change.

During July 2021, 1,225 Series A shares were converted to Series B shares at the request of shareholders. Accordingly, the total number of votes in the company totals 596,987,990.

The total number of registered shares in the company amounts to 419,903,072, of which 19,676,102 are Series A shares, and 400,226,970 are Series B shares.

Skanska invests EUR 47M, about SEK 480M, in a new building in the office complex Centrum Południe in Wroclaw, Poland. The 13-storey office building will have a total leasable area of around 21,500 square meters and will offer 200 underground parking places.

January-June 2021 compared to January-June 2020

Highlights according to segment reporting

- Revenue amounted to SEK 69.8 billion (76.7); adjusted for currency effects revenue decreased 3 percent.

- Operating income amounted to SEK 4.7 billion (3.7); adjusted for currency effects operating income increased 29 percent.

- Earnings per share amounted to SEK 9.27 (7.29).

- Operating cash flow from operations amounted to SEK 0.9 billion (3.3), according to IFRS.
