Germany is a big market that provides notable growth opportunities,” explains Vuorinen, adding: “We already have an investor base in Germany, and our name is well known there, so we are committed to invest in further growth. Practically, this means expanding our sales force and forming new partnerships, potentially even establishing a local presence. The next steps in this effort will be announced in the coming months.”

Varainhoidossa kasvua haeteen erityisesti hyödyntämällä vahvaa kansainvälistä kysyntää, joka kohdistuu Aktian korkealuokkaiseen korko-osaamiseen (pitkäaikainen vahvuusalue). Volyymien lisäksi haetaan paremman katteen AuM:ia ja kv-markkina on tässä mielessä kiinnostava. Jakeluverkostoa ja myyntivoimaa vahvistetaan tuntuvasti. Q4:sella kv-myynti näytti jo lupaavalta. Toki tuotekehitystäkin tehdään ja yllä olevan lisäksi meillä on esim. Premium-ja Private-segmenteissä vahva asema. Yt OT/IR

Sen verran voin Taalerin silloisena analyytikkona kommentoida, että ostohetkellä Taaleri Varainhoidon palkkiot koostuivat karkeasti seuraavista (ei tärkeysjärjestyksessä):   perinteinen varainhoito (rahastot, TVK, konsultatiivinen)   Vaihtoehtoiset tuotteet (valtaosin Taalerin omat rahastot)   Strukturoidut tuotteet   Tuottopalkkiot valikoiduista rahastoista   Käsitykseni mukaan näistä ainakin tuottikset ovat käytännössä kadonneet, kun nämä tietyt rahastot ovat kutistuneet tosi paljon silloisesta ja träkit ovat heikentyneet. Vaihtoehtoisissa Taaleri-yhteistyön piti olla tärkeä palikka, mutta palkkiot jäivät jo aiemmin varsin ohuiksi (monista syistä vaihtoehtoisten rooli on jäänyt tosi pieneksi Aktialla), ja viime kesänä Taaleri myös irtisanoi yhteistyösopimuksen. Myös struksien volyymit ovat käsittääkseni laskeneet reippaasti, sillä aikanaan Taaleri teki näitä ihan kovalla volyymillä. Kun tähän päälle tiedetään, että myös perinteisessä varainhoidossa on Taalerin osalta ollut haasteita (iso vaihtuvuus), niin eipä tuota alaskirjausta voida hirmuisena yllätyksenä pitää. Huom! Aktiahan ei näitä eriä raportoi, eli nämä ovat puhtaasti omia veikkauksia  Anyway kannattaa muistaa, että tämä oli nyt täysin kirjanpidollinen toimenpide .  Todellinen vahinko sattui jo vuosia sitten, kun integraatio meni syystä tai toisesta puihin

Arvopaperi kutsui alaskirjausten perusteluja postmoderniksi runoudeksi. Tarina ei kerro, että onko tuo kehu vai moite.

Aktian perinteistä pankkitoimintaa ei ole mitään syytä epäillä. Enemmän kiinnostaa se, millä tavoin strategian mukainen varainhoidon merkittävä kasvu toteutetaan, kun se ei onnistunut Taalerin ostolla. Näkeekö Aktia, että tuotteet ovat jo, vain myyntiä puuttuu?
