Argo Defence Group AB (publ), through its wholly owned subsidiary Swedish Net Air & Defence AB, has been awarded a framework agreement by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for Water Tank Systems, with a maximum contract value of SEK 68 million over an initial two-year period, with an option to extend for an additional two years. The agreement has not yet been signed, as a mandatory 10-day standstill period is currently in effect.
The award decision concerns the procurement of water tank systems with capacities of 250 and 1,000 litres, intended for use by the Swedish Armed Forces. The systems are designed for the storage, transport and distribution of drinking water in demanding operational environments. They consist of foldable outer casings with replaceable liners, as well as heating devices and insulation hoods to prevent drinking water from freezing in low temperatures.
In accordance with applicable legislation, a ten-day standstill period is now in effect from the date the award decision was communicated, during which the agreement cannot be signed. During the standstill period – and until the agreement has been concluded – an application for review of the procurement may be submitted to the competent Administrative Court. If such an application is submitted, an extended standstill period will apply while the Administrative Court processes the case, meaning that the agreement cannot be concluded until the proceedings have been completed. Argo Defence Group will provide further updates as additional information becomes available.
