Crown Energy Subsidiary Secures US Patent for Sensorized Garment Technology

Crown Energy’s subsidiary AccYouRate Group SpA has been granted a US patent for its textile-based technology that enables continuous health monitoring through garments. The patent strengthens the company’s position in the digital health and smart textiles market.

Crown Energy announces today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has granted a new patent to its subsidiary, AccYouRate Group SpA. The newly granted patent, titled "Sensorized Garment", protects technology that incorporates electrically conductive ink electrodes directly into textile garments for continuous monitoring of vital biomedical signals, including electrocardiogram (ECG) and breathing rate.

The patented technology marks an important step forward in wearable health monitoring by embedding medical-grade sensors directly into everyday clothing. Unlike traditional wearable devices that require metal electrodes, this innovation uses conductive ink printed into the fabric structure, providing a practical, comfortable, and accurate monitoring solution.

The sensorized garment addresses limitations in current health monitoring technologies, enhancing the position of Crown Energy and AccYouRate in the evolving digital health and smart textile markets. Market applications for the technology include clinical monitoring, remote patient care, preventive healthcare, telemedicine, occupational health, and geriatric care.

Crown has withdrawn from and/or written down its other earlier Licence holdings.
