Duraden Fastighets AB, a subsidiary of Galjaden Fastigheter AB, has signed an agreement with the City of Malmö to acquire a property in Jägersro, Malmö. The property will serve as the base for a tailor-made experience and technology center for DMT.
This new center is a major investment for DMT and aims, through its strategic location in the Öresund region, to strengthen DMT's market position, increase customer proximity, and serve as a platform for further business development in the Nordics and the Baltics.
The building, covering over 4,000 square meters, will include a showroom where the latest in machining technology is demonstrated, a testing center offering customized solutions, as well as spaces for enhanced warehousing and logistics capacity, along with office and conference facilities.
The property acquisition is expected to be completed in June 2025, and the building is scheduled to be ready by autumn 2026. Duroc holds a minority stake of 49 percent in Duraden Fastighets AB, and DMT will lease the premises.
Duroc Machine Tool (DMT) is one of the largest suppliers in the Nordic and Baltic regions of machine tools, tools, machine service, and support for engineering companies. Its customers include companies in the automotive and forestry industries, construction machinery, and power generation. The core product is machining equipment from DN Solutions, one of the world's leading brands in the market. The DMT Group represents around 60 internationally recognized brands and is unique in operating across seven markets: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
