Täytyy tulla muuten kommentoimaan tänne omia kokemuksiani (ainakin uskoakseni) yhtiön tuotteesta. Meille tuli jokin aikaa sitten töihin Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon läppärit, missä käsittääkseni tuo toiminto mikä checkaa oletko ruudun ääressä on Ellipticin käsialaa (korjatkaa, mikäli olen väärässä?). Ei tainnut mennä viikkoakaan, että nuoremmat “tech savvy” työntekijät oli ruuvannut toiminnon pois käytöstä. Syynä se, että “älykäs” ominaisuus ei ymmärtänyt sitä, jos istut läppärin edessä paikallasi, vaan veti näytön lukkoon. Pari viikkoa lisää, niin IT laittoi tämän kaikilta pois päältä. Mikäli läppäri oli telakassa kiinni ja käyttäjä piti läppää kiinni, niin sitäkään ei tämä toiminto sietänyt, vaan veti heti ruudun lukkoon heti kun aika oli täysi. Vaikea nähdä, ettei käyttäjäkokemus olisi “globaali”. Toki on mahdollista, että toiminto saadaan softalla kuntoon, mutta kun se on jo käyttäjillä pois päältä niin sen “maine” ei pääse puhdistumaan. Ja jos asiakkaat eivät ole toiminnosta mielissään, onko jonkinnäköinen uhka sille, että Lenovo hylkää toiminnallisuuden tulevissa laitteissa?
