Fortum on energiayhtiö, joka edistää muutosta kohti puhtaampaa maailmaa. Fortumin ydinliiketoiminta on Pohjoismaissa ja se koostuu päästöttömästä ja tehokkaasta sähkön tuotannosta, sähkön myynnistä, kaukolämmöstä sekä kierrätys- ja jäteliiketoiminnasta.

Talouselämä – 10 Dec 25              Jättimäisestä sähköhankkeesta merkittävä uusi tieto    Kemijoelle kaavailtu pumppuvoimalaitos olisi toteutuessaan lajissaan Suomen ensimmäinen. Kemijärvellä vastustettiin tänään pumppuvoimaloita, joiden pelätään muuttavan alueen luontoa merkittävästi. Puolustajat ovat korostaneet taloudellisia hyötyjä ja verotuloja.
