Intrum’s Annual and Sustainability Report 2024: Helping millions achieve financial recovery

Intrum AB (“Intrum”) today announces the publication of its Annual and Sustainability Report for 2024. The report outlines the company’s financial performance and continued transformation towards a capital light, technology-driven business.

During 2024, Intrum supported approximately 5 million people out of debt and on the path to financial recovery, reinforcing its role as a key player in the financial ecosystem. The company also recovered SEK 121 billion for its clients while making significant progress in its operational efficiency and digital transformation.

Key Group highlights (continuing operations) from the 2024 financial year:

Income increased to SEK 18,033 M (from 17,705 M in 2023)
Operating income (EBIT) decreased to SEK 1,941 M (from 2,776 M in 2023)
Continued progress in cost efficiencies with realised cost savings of SEK 1.3bn by end of 2024
Cash EBITDA increased to SEK 9,287 M (from 9,137 M in 2023)
Adjusted operating earnings (EBIT) decreased to SEK 4,548 M (from 5,385 M in 2023)
