Næstved Municipality expands digital winter operations with Klimator RSI and BM System integration
Klimator Denmark has signed a new agreement with Næstved Municipality, Denmark, strengthening a long-standing collaboration by integrating Klimator’s Road Status Information (RSI) with BM System’s operational platform. The integration enables advanced use of IoT data and digital decision support for safer, more efficient, and sustainable winter road operations. The solution with a value of 500 Ksek will be delivered in Q4.
Næstved Municipality has been a pioneer in adopting modern digital tools to ensure road safety while optimizing resources. With this new step, operators and supervisors will benefit from seamless access to real-time road condition insights and dynamic operations, including adaptive and dynamic salting, helping them act faster and more precisely during winter challenges.

The result is a powerful digital backbone that supports decision makers, reduces salt usage through dynamic salting, and contributes to better working conditions for operators.
