NCC to construct residential care facility in Turku
NCC has signed an agreement with Nordic Income+ (NIP), a fund managed by Urban Partners, to build a new residential care facility in Turku, Finland. The order value is approximately SEK 150 million.

The care facility, of approximately 4,600 square meters, is located in the growing Herttuankulma neighborhood of Turku and comprises 114 care places. The project is the result of a long-term project development process involving NCC, the owners and the facility operators. Special consideration was given to the accessibility, community and living comfort aspects of the building design.
"This is an excellent example of how to leverage long-term project development to create high-quality care facilities in growing urban areas. Through developing the project in partnership with the future owner and facility operators, we have laid a solid foundation for the project's implementation," says Esa Lehmusvuori, Business Manager at NCC Building Nordics.
With the aim of achieving BREEAM Excellent environmental certification, the project is using construction materials with a low climate impact and is also applying renewable energy and smart energy management solutions.
The project starts in September 2026 with completion scheduled for Spring 2028.
The order value is approximately SEK 150 million and will be registered in the NCC Building Nordics business area in the third quarter of 2026.
