Nordic Iron Ore is a mining company with the objective of resuming and developing iron ore mining in the Ludvika area. The company's vision is to run projects for the production of ultra-highly enriched iron ore concentrate for the production of fossil-free steel. On their own, or through collaborations, the company intends to make use of the phosphorus and rare earth metals found in the mineralization. Nordic Iron Ore was founded in 2008 and has its headquarters in Grängesberg.

<div class="mfn-preamble"><p><strong>The Nomination Committee of Nordic Iron Ore AB (publ) has decided to propose to the Annual General Meeting 2024 the following election of members of the Board of Directors: Bengt Nilsson (Chairman), Tomas Olofsson, Gösta Bergman, Tobias Hansson, Anders Bengtsson, Pierre Heeroma and Leon Davies.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>The Nomination Committee proposes, for the period until the end of the next Annual General Meeting, re-election of the Board members Bengt Nilsson (Chairman), Tomas Olofsson, Gösta Bergman and Tobias Hansson, new election of Anders Bengtsson, who replaces Jonas Bengtsson at the request of Bengtssons Tidnings AB, and Pierre Heeroma and Leon Davies as Board members.</p><p>Anders Bengtsson, former member of the Nomination Committee, is now proposed to replace Jonas Bengtsson as representative of Bengtssons Tidnings AB, one of Nordic Iron Ore's main owners.</p><p>Pierre Heeroma is currently a member of the Board of Directors of SSAB and has many years of experience from the mining industry, such as Boliden and LKAB.</p><p>Leon Davies, with more than 20 years of experience in the steel industry, is responsible for Cargill Metals' commercial activities in the Atlantic region and globally responsible for Cargill Metals' sustainability work.</p><p>A more detailed presentation of the proposed Board members will take place at the meeting.
