Presis Vegdrift as has placed an order valued at approximately SEK 7 Million with Klimator AB, a leading provider of road weather intelligence and decision support solutions. The order represents a step in the companies’ collaboration and reflects continued demand for digitalised and data-driven road maintenance operations. Klimator calculates a rewenue of SEK 6 Million for 2026.
The order includes expanded use of Klimator’s Saltera platform and supports Presis Vägdrift’s continued efforts in digitalization and automation. The solution enables data-driven, optimized, and increasingly automated operations through advanced analysis of road conditions.
By combining real-time data with forecast-based insights, the platform supports the planning and execution of maintenance measures, enabling efficient resource utilization while maintaining road safety. The system also contributes to increased automation of operational workflows.
The delivery includes Klimator’s new road-condition-based salting solution, which automates and controls the salt spreader based on real-time measurements of road conditions combined with forecast data. The system continuously adjusts spreading volumes based on parameters such as road conditions and expected weather developments, supporting efficient resource use and consistent operational performance. The order also includes Saltera Road Status—decision support—and IoT road weather sensors.
