The order includes Road Status Information (RSI), IoT-based road weather stations, as well as solutions for Dynamic and Adaptive Salting – all aimed at strengthening efficiency, sustainability, and traffic safety in winter road maintenance. The agreements cover two new contract areas over the coming five years, 2025–2030.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p><strong>Products included in the delivery:</strong></p><ul><li>Road Status Information (RSI)</li><li>IoT Road Weather Stations</li><li>Dynamic Salting</li><li>Adaptive Salting</li></ul><p>“We are pleased to continue earning the trust of Presis Vegdrift, one of Norway’s leading winter contractors. This is another clear sign that digitalization and automation are the way forward for the entire winter industry, with our capabilities in Dynamic and Adaptive Salting,” says Søren Pedersen, Head of Winter Maintenance at Klimator.</p><p><strong class="mfn-heading-2">A new level of precision and proactivity</strong><br>With RSI and Klimator’s IoT road weather stations, Presis Vegdrift gains access to forecasts at the road-segment level, based on local conditions such as topography, elevation changes, and proximity to watercourses.<br>This enables more accurate decision-making and better use of resources. The integration of dynamic and adaptive salting allows both standby staff and drivers to act on real-time data about current road conditions – while the spreader itself adapts the treatment to prevailing circumstances.</p><p><strong class="mfn-heading-2">Data-driven decisions for a new winter era</strong><br>Presis Vegdrift thereby strengthens its position as one of the pioneers in the future of winter road maintenance.
