Better Collective is a leading digital sports media group that develops educational platforms within the iGaming industry. It was founded in 2004 and listed on the Nasdaq OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm AB in 2018. The majority of Better Collective's revenue is generated through affiliate marketing. Better Collective facilitates single affiliate journeys; when users arrive at a Better Collective platform and activate an affiliate link in order to sign up with a partnerning operator, Better Collective earns an affiliate commission. The type of comission varies and can be based either on revenue share or by getting a single Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) fee. In some cases the comission can be a mixture of both. Currently, Better Collective operates through two business segments, publishing and paid media. Its publishing segment hosts platforms designed to improve the igaming experience by creating communities, comparing odds, facilitating the sharing of analysis and tips, providing educational content, and more. Better Collective generates revenue from referral fees when users are directed from its platforms to betting operators’ sites. Betting operators pay Better Collective when users bet and sign up to their platforms. Better Collective's paid media segment focuses on lead generation for igaming and was initiated via the acquisition of Atemi Group in 2020. The segment relies on paid media and social media advertising to bring customers to the platforms of its fee-paying betting operator clients.

Hyvä kysymys. En spekuloi sellaisilla asioilla, koska todellisuus on, ettemme tiedä. He saattavat tietää jotain, mitä me emme tiedä – mutta minulla on melko korkea vakaumus siitä, että tämä tapaus etenee niin kuin kirjoitan täydellisessä analyysissäni (ainakin suuntaa-antavasti)… Voin olla väärässä; aika näyttää.

BETCO laski -5% tänään. Uhkapelisektori (FLUT & DKNG jne.) laski, koska Illinois ilmoitti veronkorotuksista vetokohtaisen transaktioveron muodossa. En usko niiden vaikuttavan BETCOon affiliaattina.  Lyhyeksi myytyjen osuus kasvaa hitaasti ja se on tällä hetkellä 6%. Näetkö tässä potentiaalia, jos lyhyeksimyyjät pakotetaan sulkemaan positionsa? Se oli hyvä artikkeli, kiitos julkaisusta! Joo, yrityksestä ei ole paljon keskustelua.  Minulla ei ole aavistustakaan, miten markkinat suhtautuvat Q1-tuloksiin, mutta kuulostaa siltä, että he ovat oikealla tiellä. Oli positiivista kuulla, että he menestyvät hyvin LatAmissa Brasilian ulkopuolella. Seuratessani Betssonia uskon, että Argentiinan kaltaiset maat ovat yhtä tärkeitä kasvun kannalta. He ovat myös muokkaamassa johtoa, mikä kuulostaa hyvältä.  Huhtikuun loppuun mennessä Better Collective on aloittanut mullistavan matkan organisaatiorakenteensa yhdenmukaistamiseksi pitkän aikavälin strategisten tavoitteidemme kanssa. Tunnistaessamme tarpeen parantaa skaalautuvuutta, keskittymistä ja globaalia integraatiota, olemme siirtyneet malliin, joka tukee paremmin kasvuambitioitamme. Yleisnäkemykseni BETCOsta on, että he kohtaavat tilapäisiä vastatuulia, mutta pitkän aikavälin näkymät ovat erinomaiset. Heidän taseensa on hyvässä kunnossa, sillä he pystyivät keräämään osakepääomaa alkuvuodesta Q1/24 korkealla osakekurssilla.  En todellakaan kutsuisi sitä kriisiyhtiöksi tai miksikään sellaiseksi.  Jää nähtäväksi, mitkä ovat SEO-muutosten pitkän aikavälin vaikutukset ja kuinka paljon “hitaampi USA:n kumppanitoiminta” vaikuttaa taloudellisiin tuloksiin.

Pääluvuthan oli tiedossa jo etukäteen, joten oma mielenkiinto kohdistui ohjeistukseen. Minulle oli kyllä pettymys, että 2025 ohjeistus on liikevaihdon ja EBITDAn osalta käytännössä flätti vuoteen 2024 verrattuna, eli vaikeudet näyttäisivät jatkuvan vielä tämän vuoden. Nyt vaihdetaan M&A-moodista tehostamiseen ja orgaanisen kasvun puolustamiseen/uudelleenkäynnistämiseen, mikä kieltämättä kuulostaa enemmän puolustus- kuin hyökkäysliikkeeltä. Nykyvaluaatiolla noin 1,5 %:a osakekannasta kattava takaisinosto kuitenkin ihan positiivinen uutinen hinnan tukemiseen. Itse pelkään, että tulosta ei vastaanoteta kovin positiivisesti. Vieläkö nykyiset kertoimet on perusteltuja lyhyellä aikavälillä, jos tälle vuodelle ei edes luvata kasvua?
