Sedana Medical AB:lla ei ole omaa ketjua, vaikka uskon sen olevan monen sijoittajan tutkalla tai jopa salkussa, ainakin jos on suuntautunut medtec osakkeisiin. Yritys on perustettu vuonna 2005 ja sen pääkonttori on Tukholmassa. Yritys on erikoistunut sedaatioon ja tavoitteena on helpottaa ja jopa osaltaan mullistaa tehohoitoa soveltamalla kevyempää, ei-invasiivista  tapaa potilaan sedaatioon inhaloidun sedaation avulla. Tuotteen etuna on ainakin potilaan  helpompi kontrollointi ja kevyempi, vähemmän invasiivinen hoito. Samalla on ilmeistä, että tämä on paikoin halvempi ja tehokkaampi hoitomuoto, mutta toisaalta tätä hoitomallia ei suinkaan voidaa soveltaa kaikille potilaille. Yritys on toisaalta kypsässä vaiheessa siten että liikevaihtoa syntyy, vajaa neljä miljoonaa euroa per kvartaali, mutta toisaalta kehitysvaiheessa siinä mielessä, että EBITDA on -4 %.Kassassa on rahaa hieman yli 10 miljoonaa euroa ja burn rate viime kvartaalilla oli noin kolme miljoonaa euroa, Itse lähdin tähän sijoitukseen aikanaan nk tarkkailupositiolla, koska yrityksen tuote varsinkin  koronavuosien aikana tuntui todella ajankohtaiselta ja mielenkiintoiselta. Valitettavasti yrityksen kassavirta on vielä heikko ja myynti ei ole aivan vastannut hurjimpia odotuksia. Näin ollen yritys on vielä rahoituksen kannalta todennäköisesti osakeantien varassa ja on vaikea muodostaa selkeää käsitystä tulevasta kurssikehityksestä. Toisaalta juuri tässä vaiheessa hieman pehmeän kvartaaliraportin jälkeen voi olla hyvä hetki iskeä kiinni tähän tehohoitoa mullistavan yrityksen osakkeeseen. Toivon mukaan Inderesin yhteisön medtec osaajat voivat antaa oman kontribuutionsa  tämän hiomattoman timantin analysoimiseen. Joka tapauksessa sijoittavat ovat hyvässä seurassa, koska suurin omistaja on pitkäaikainen kokenut medtec- sijoittaja Bengt Julander 13,6 % osuudellan, omistus on muutoin hajautunut. Pahimmillaan / parhaimmillaan tämä lupaava varhaisen vaiheen yritys tippuu jonkun suuremman syliin hyvällä hinnalla, mutta tietenkin mielenkiintoisinta olisi saada tästä hyvä pitkäaikainen sijoitus.
