Signs Fantasy deal in Africa with Sunbet
Scout Gaming Group (“Scout” or “Company”) has signed a B2B deal for the supply of multiple Fantasy and sports betting products with African iGaming operator Sunbet, which is part of the publicly listed Sun International Group.
Sunbet is a highly prominent, licensed gaming operator with operations spanning multiple brands and verticals and soon across numerous African countries.
Scout will supply a fully localised range of its products including Fantasy sports and sportsbook cross-sell as well as user acquisition and retention tools, to be deployed across multiple Sunbet properties.
Scout’s Fantasy sports products will provide Sunbet with a differentiated product vertical that will have great appeal to existing and new users by providing new and exciting content for the most passionately followed sports and leagues across the world. Game mechanics will also be optimised to ensure the product closely matches the specific preferences and demands of Sunbet’s regional audiences.
The contract consists of a fixed component and a variable component based on activity, resulting in an estimated contract value of substantial size. The product is expected to go live during the third quarter of 2024.
