In 2022, OrderYOYO merged with German app smart. Going forward, Germany is an important growth market for OrderYOYO. OrderYOYO has a usage-based business model implying that the company grows with its restaurant partners. The company has been listed at Nasdaq First North in Denmark since July 2021.

Penneo is a Danish Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company delivering solutions for digital signing (Penneo Sign), document workflow, and compliance such as a Know Your Customer product (Penneo KYC) that helps companies comply with Anti Money Laundering (AML) legislation. Penneo was established in Denmark in 2014, and the company has more than 3,000 customers across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Belgium. Penneo is listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen Main Market.

Risma Systems (RISMA) is a Danish Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that helps simplify and optimize governance, risk and compliance (GRC) activities across companies and organizations. RISMA’s solution is an all-in-one software suite for all GRC initiatives (such as GDPR, ISMS, risk management, financial controls, ESG).

The company primarily operates in the Nordic region with independent sales offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and through partners. The company has been listed at Nasdaq First North in Denmark since March 2021.

RISMA Systems

Dataproces Group operates in the IT sector. The company specializes in the development of digital platforms for the public sector. The software is self-developed and is mainly used for administration, education, and analysis and follow-up of revenue optimization. In addition to the main business, various value-added services are offered. The largest operations are found in the Nordic market. Today, we are publishing our latest Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sector report with the headline: &lsquo;Will the early signs of tailwinds continue?&rsquo;
Looking at the recent news from the SaaS sector, there have been some tailwinds and positive comments about a potential ending of the pressure on IT budgets and the cost optimization cycle that emerged after the COVID-19 boom. 
In our SaaS report from last year, we discussed that Danish-listed SaaS companies could be acquired off the stock market by private equity firms due to low valuation multiples and low share liquidity with limited access to new capital. This has played out and is covered in the report. However, we have also seen many voluntary delistings, as companies can save costs and potentially get a higher valuation on the private market which is somewhat contradictory to what we normally observe.&nbsp;
Lastly, no one can escape the AI theme in the software sector. This theme is still alive, however, the first signs of monetization from the AI wave have only been seen in the leading hyperscalers.
