Nosa Plugs AB (”Nosa Plugs” or ”the Company”) announced on 10 August 2026 that the Company has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with MetroMed regarding sales of Nosa Plugs’ full product portfolio in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. In connection with the agreement being entered into, MetroMed places an initial order of NOSA Odor Control with an order value of approximately SEK 0.3m. MetroMed thereafter intends to launch the remaining products in the assortment, including Nozoil, NOSA Smell Training and NOSA Microbial Control, as soon as the requisite regulatory approvals have been obtained in each respective market, where the planned order value for these products following registration amounts to close to SEK 1m. The combined value of the initial order and the planned subsequent orders thereby amount to approximately SEK 1.3m. MetroMed will sell the products through its established sales channels towards pharmacies, hospitals, grocery retail and veterinary clinics, among others.
In summary, Analyst Group views the agreement with MetroMed as a positive development which broadens the Company’s geographical presence to five new markets through a capital efficient distributor model, and which realises the revenue synergy from the acquisition of Pharmacure in that a market which entered the Group via Nozoil is now addressed with the full product portfolio. The financial contribution in the near term is assessed to be limited, whereas the structural demand drivers for the product portfolio in the region, in combination with a counterparty which holds established distribution channels, are assessed to render the region a potential growth contributor over time, where the pace at which the remaining registrations are obtained is assessed to constitute the most important factor to monitor going forward.
