Aptahem AB (publ) ("Aptahem" or the "Company") has entered into a commercial partnership agreement with Jarlen Capital BV ("Jarlen Capital") with the aim of strengthening the Company's work with out-licensing and commercial partnerships for Aptahem's assets.
Within the framework of the agreement, Jarlen Capital will actively identify, contact and process potential licensees and other commercial partners. The assignment also includes establishing relevant contacts and contributing to advancing commercial dialogues towards possible licensing, collaboration or other commercial transactions.
The agreement is performance-based and does not involve any fixed or ongoing compensation to Jarlen Capital. Compensation is only paid if Jarlen Capital's efforts lead to a completed commercial transaction where Aptahem receives an upfront payment. In such a case, compensation is paid in the form of a pre-agreed success fee based on the upfront payment that accrues to Aptahem.

At the same time, the model is completely results-based, which means that costs for Aptahem only arise when the work contributes to a completed transaction and an actual upfront payment to the Company."
