Bergen Carbon Solutions AS (BCS), the pure-play carbon capture and utilization
(CCU) company, has received approval for funding from The Research Council of
Norway ("Forskningsrådet") through the "Skattefunn" program for our project to
improve the characteristics of our carbon powders.
BCS will receive funding totaling NOK 14.3 million for the period 2024-2026.
SkatteFUNN is a tax deduction scheme for research and development (R&D) efforts
in business. The aim is to encourage companies that acquire new knowledge,
information, or experience, which can lead to new or improved products,
services, or production methods.
