Evaluation agreement with a US-based AI company
Terranet has entered into an evaluation agreement with a US company developing AI technology for fast data processing directly in hardware. The purpose is to explore how the two companies’ technologies can be combined in applications where low latency and quick response are essential.
The company develops edge AI solutions that run directly in hardware and process data locally within the system instead of through the cloud. The technology is designed for environments where quick response and efficient data handling are key. Today, the company targets markets such as defense, industrial automation, smart cities, and advanced transportation systems – areas closely aligned with Terranet’s focus.
The evaluation covers how Terranet’s sensor system can be combined with the company’s AI platform to enhance performance in future solutions. By analyzing the technical compatibility, both parties will gain a clearer picture of how the technology can be applied in joint customer discussions and in markets where the demand for real-time data is growing.
“Several external evaluations are planned for 2026 across different industries and areas of use. The goal is to demonstrate our customer value and open the door to commercial collaborations. This evaluation is particularly interesting as it could lead to a potential partnership and strengthen our presence both in the US market and in new verticals,” says Jonas Renander, CCO at Terranet.
The agreement involves no financial commitments between the parties.
