By the end of the first quarter Gigante Salmon had accumulated a standing
biomass of a total 1,070 tonnes. The Winter 2024 generation accounts for 560
tonnes of the total biomass, with an average weight of 3,500 grams.
The Autumn 2024 generation makes ut the remaining biomass, 510 tonnes, with an
average weight of 620 grams.
Production has been positive throughout the quarter, with satisfactory growth.
Gigante Salmon will begin harvesting the pilot production, the Winter 2024
generation, in the second quarter of 2025. The expected harvest volume is
approximately 550 tonnes HOG.
