IDEX Biometrics ASA today announces the appointment of Ingvill Tømt as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 July 2026. She succeeds Kjell-Arne Besseberg, who has served as interim CFO since 1 June 2026. Tømt joined IDEX in May 2025 as Vice President Finance and has since been integral to the Company's financial governance and reporting.
Tømt holds an MSc in Business & Economics and began her career at PwC before progressing to senior finance roles at Telenor and Coop, building expertise across financial reporting, governance, mergers and demergers, and business performance management.
"Ingvill has been instrumental in building our finance function since she joined, and she knows the business inside out. As we enter a phase of commercial scale-up, having a dedicated and experienced CFO is the right move for IDEX," says Kjell-Arne Besseberg, CEO.
