Mölndal, Sweden, September 8, 2026 — Integrum AB (publ) (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: INTEG B) was informed today that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to introduce a state-funded pilot program for bone-anchored prostheses. Integrum’s OPRA® Implant System has already been used in over 100 procedures in Ukraine since 2023, and the company has an established clinical presence in the country. The pilot program will run over a two-year period and will be led by Ukraine’s Ministry of Health (MOZ) and the National Health Service of Ukraine (NSZU).

As part of the pilot program, healthcare institutions will receive market-based compensation for the first cohort of 25 patients treated in 2026, in addition to the existing state guarantee reimbursements that already cover the surgical procedure and inpatient rehabilitation. Eligible patients are those with short or deformed transfemoral or transhumeral amputation stumps for whom conventional socket prostheses are not suitable, reflecting the long-term, evidence-based follow-up standard that Integrum has advocated internationally.

The company has established Centers of Excellence in Kyiv and Cherkasy. Dr. Rickard Brånemark has been central to building the company’s presence in the country and continues to support the clinical training of the country’s surgeons. In April 2026, the company recruited a Business Development lead to coordinate its operations in the country. The pilot program has the potential to expand Integrum’s addressable market and contribute to a broader recognition of osseointegration as an established treatment method.

“This decision is highly significant for amputees in Ukraine who, for various reasons, cannot use conventional socket prostheses. Osseointegration offers them the possibility of a functional, bone-anchored prosthesis and a path back to a more active life. The fact that the Ukrainian state has now chosen to fund the pilot program demonstrates strong confidence in the clinical experience built up through the significant number of OPRA procedures already performed in the country, and we look forward to continuing to support Ukrainian hospitals and surgeons in building capacity and expertise in this field,” says Dr. Rickard Brånemark, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Integrum.

The Ukrainian authorities announced the decision on September 7, 2026, in Resolution 1095.

About Us
Integrum AB is a publicly traded company (INTEG B: Nasdaq First North Growth Market) based outside of Gothenburg, Sweden. Since 1990, its OPRA™ Implant System has helped improve the quality of life for hundreds of people who are amputees by directly attaching a prosthesis to the bone and musculoskeletal system, therefore eliminating the need for a socket. Based on osseointegration, the bone-anchored implant system offers a range of benefits, including improved mobility and function, enhanced comfort, reduced pressure, a stable attachment and more. The OPRA™ Implant System was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2020 and is the only FDA-approved bone-anchored implant system specifically designed for use in amputees available in the U.S. Today, Integrum continues to perform research and develop custom-made medical device solutions in close collaboration with scientists and clinicians.
