Lieutenant General (retd.) Kim Jäämeri appointed Defence & Security Senior Advisor at Reaktor

Kim Jäämeri, former Commander of the Finnish Air Force and Lieutenant General (retd.), has been appointed Defence & Security senior advisor at the technology company Reaktor. In his new role, Jäämeri supports Reaktor's goal of expanding its technology solutions and software business into global defence markets.
"Kim is one of Finland's most experienced defence professionals, and he has spent his entire career leading in complex operating environments that demand decisions. It's great to have his expertise now supporting Reaktor's development in defence and security", says Pekka Horo, CEO of Reaktor.
Jäämeri served as Commander of the Finnish Air Force from 2014 to 2017, as Chief of Strategy of the Finnish Defence Forces from 2017 to 2022, and as Finland's first Military Representative to NATO and the EU from 2023 to 2025. He is chair of the board of Belvictor Oy, a board member of In Parallel Oy, a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences, and an advisor to several Finnish and international companies.
