The patent, entitled "Metatarsal implant", relates to the big toe implant that the company has developed. This is the first approval within this patent family. "This patent gives us protection in the US within the field of implants for the metatarsal bone of the toe. This relates to the Episealer® MTP implant for the big toe that the company has developed, a product that is currently undergoing a review process at the US FDA.
