Sound Dimension AB (publ) announces today that the European Patent Office (EPO) has issued a Decision to grant the company's patent regarding a method and system for reproducing sound. The patent significantly strengthens the company's intellectual property protection in the European market for the underlying technology of AiFi.
The granted patent protects the core methods for multi-user synchronization of audio across multiple devices. One of the primary commercial application areas for the technology is within audio and video streaming and AiFi Scene Commerce.
