Summa Defence Oyj: Release from Transfer Restriction of Summa Defence Plc Shares to Lännen MCE Oy

Lännen MCE Oy has previously undertaken to comply with an 18-month transfer restriction concerning the shares it holds in Summa Defence Plc, effective from the completion of the merger between Meriaura Group Plc (currently Summa Defence Plc) and Summa Defence Oy (currently Summa Holding Oy). Pursuant to the terms of the transfer restriction undertakings, any pledge of the company's shares requires the consent of the Board of Directors of Summa Defence Plc.

The Board of Directors of Summa Defence Plc has granted its consent to the pledge and has approved the release of the necessary number of shares held by Lännen MCE Oy from the transfer restriction to enable the pledge.
