Scandinavian Medical Solutions announced yesterday that the company has completed the sale of an MRI scanner to a new customer in Central Asia.
Scandinavian Medical Solutions has completed the sale of a Siemens Skyra 3T MRI scanner to a new customer in Central Asia. The deal was reached through strong industry partnerships, with the company drawing on its broad network and longstanding relationships in the sector, which proved decisive in securing the agreement with the new customer.
The sale reflects the strength of the partnerships and relationships that Scandinavian Medical Solutions has built in the diagnostic imaging equipment market. At the same time, the sale secures the company yet another customer in the region and strengthens its presence in the Central Asian market. SMS is therefore expanding its geographic footprint, which supports the company's current strategy.
The order has a value in the range of DKK 3.5-5.0 million and is therefore being announced in accordance with the company's information and communication policy. Scandinavian Medical Solutions also announced an order earlier this week, in which the company delivered a high-field Siemens MRI scanner to an existing customer in Ukraine. This order had a value in the range of DKK 2.0-3.5 million, meaning the company has announced orders totaling DKK 5.5-8.5 million this week. In the current financial year, orders totaling DKK 36.0-57.5 million have been announced.
Delivery of the equipment took place in week 31 and does not change the company's stated guidance for the 2025/26 financial year, in which revenue of DKK 190-220 million is expected, with EBITDA of DKK 0-5 million.
