Viscaria is a mining company. The company is engaged in the reopening of the Viscaria mine in Kiruna. In addition to the Viscaria mine, the company holds a number of mining concessions and exploration permits in Arvidsjaur (Eva, Svartliden, Granliden) and Smedjebacken (Tvistbo mine) - all in Sweden. The company was founded in 2006 and has its headquarters in Kiruna.

Permit appeals fall flat, final decision on 5 December Feasibility study and resource update coming before year-end SEK 1.5bn EBIT on spot prices and full run-rate production Permit valid from 5 Dec as appeals fall flat After the third quarter, on 6 October, the Environmental Court of Appeal announced that the appeals against Viscaria's previously approved environmental permit will not be granted leave. This means that unless the court's decision is appealed once more, Viscaria's environmental permit (which was approved in May) will enter into law on 5 December. The appeals falling flat is another key milestone for the company, and assuming no more appeals emerge, the next focus area for the company will be to secure financing to re-open the Viscaria mine.
