Føroya Banki (formerly BankNordik) is a Faroese bank listed on Nasdaq OMX Copenhagen, and based in Thorshavn. The bank offers financial services to private, public and corporate customers.

In the Faroe Islands and Greenland, the offering consists of banking and pension services, while insurance services are also part of the offering in the Faroe Islands. Banking activities in the Faroe Islands are organised under the name Føroya Banki, while insurance and real estate activities are marketed under the Trygd and Skyn brands respectively.

Føroya Banki dates back to 1906, when the bank was founded under the name Føroya Banki, which at the time was a subsidiary of Landmandsbanken (today Danske Bank). In 1994, Føroya Banki merged with Sjóvinnubankin, and in 2006 the Faroese parliament chose to privatise the bank with a subsequent listing on the Danish and Icelandic stock exchanges in 2007. After acquiring 12 branches from Sparbank in 2010, the bank changed its name to BankNordik and in 2011 acquired the healthy parts of Amagerbanken.

In 2021, the Danish banking activities were divested and the focus is now exclusively on the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Therefore, in 2024, the bank chose to reintroduce the name Føroya Banki. Work continues on an independent name for the Greenlandic banking activities.

Djursland Bank is a Danish regional bank founded in 1965 by the merger of 3 smaller banks on Djursland. The bank provides banking products and financial services to private customers, small and medium sized enterprises as well as to public institutions in Denmark.

Apart from general banking services, its offering includes pension management, mortgage lending, insurances, investment advice, etc.

The bank is headquartered in Grenå on Djursland in the eastern part of Jutland. It runs 15 branches around the areas of Grenå, Aarhus, and Randers and in September 2022 a new branch is planned for opening in Skanderborg.

Skjern Bank is a Danish regional bank dating back to 1906. It offers various financial services to private customers, corporate and institutional customers, as well as public companies in Denmark.

The bank is headquartered in Skjern in the western part of Jutland, where it runs 6 branches in Skjern and the surrounding area. Further, the bank has 4 branches in the Greater Copenhagen area.

Its focus is on providing a full range of banking and related financial services, including credit cards, pension management, mortgage lending, insurances etc.

Skjern Bank is listed on OMX Nasdaq Copenhagen, and part of the OMX Copenhagen Small Cap Index.

Vestjysk Bank conducts banking operations. Today, the bank offers a wide range of financial services, including savings, financing and asset management, as well as pension insurance for both private and corporate customers. A large part of the customers is in the agricultural and marine sectors. The bank was originally founded in 1874 and is headquartered in Lemvig, Denmark.

Sparekassen Sjælland-Fyn is a mid-cap Danish bank with a history dating back almost 200 years. The bank offers various financial services to private and business customers, public institutions, cultural institutions, and leisure associations in the bank's market area, which covers Zealand and Funen.

The bank is headquartered in Holbæk, western Zealand, and operates 35 branches locally on Zealand and Funen, while at the same time operating 8 area centers, 2 business centers and 5 business departments.
 Sparekassen Sjælland-Fyn offers and advises on a wide range of financial services such as deposits and loans, savings, housing, pension, private banking, insurance and asset management.

Sparekassen Sjælland-Fyn is listed on Nasdaq OMX Copenhagen and is part of the OMX Copenhagen Mid Cap Index.

Market Drivers:
Markets gained today, defying higher-than-expected PPI data.
Producer prices climbed 7.4% year-on-year in November, topping economists&rsquo; expectations of 7.2%. Markets initially sold off with the expectation of more aggressive rate hikes from the Fed; however, they pared initial losses, with European markets closing higher.
Markets will be looking for further clues on Tuesday when November&rsquo;s US CPI report is published, giving greater detail as to the stickiness of inflation. Markets remain very in conflict regarding the narrative. With fears of recession a primary driver during this week, higher-than-expected PPI data can suggest that economy is not falling as rapidly as many may have expected.
