A long-duration bond fund that invests primarily in high-yield fixed-income instruments issued by Nordic banks and companies. A company in need of financing can borrow money from a bank or issue a bond on the financial markets. Corporate bonds are divided into investment grade and high-yield bonds. High-yield bonds are associated with greater uncertainty regarding the issuer’s ability to repay its debt compared to investment grade bonds. Consequently, high-yield bonds offer higher return potential but also carry greater risk than bonds issued by governments or companies with higher credit ratings. Fixed-income funds primarily invest in bonds issued by companies or public-sector entities, depending on the fund. The returns of a fixed-income fund consist of the interest paid on its underlying bonds and changes in the market value of those bonds. When general interest rates rise, bond prices fall, and when interest rates decline, bond prices rise. Investors in bonds bear the risk of the issuer’s ability to meet its payment obligations. Fixed-income funds typically exhibit lower volatility than equity funds. This fund is a product that promotes environmental and social characteristics. The fund takes sustainability risks and factors into account in its investment decision-making process. Further information on how sustainability risks and factors are identified and considered in investment decisions, as well as our responsible investment principles, can be found in the fund prospectus.

I actually stood in for @Kasper_Mellas on this earnings report! After the challenges of recent years, Aktia has really managed to get things into a good position! The single most important thing is employee satisfaction, which has risen to the best level in its history (eNPS 35) ...

OP also released a Sunday report, but as gentlemen, we won’t copy it here. Posting the headline, however, is probably fine: Net interest income will grow as long as we have patience until next year - BUY

Here is Kassu’s preview, with Aktia releasing its Q3 results on Friday, October 30 We expect comparable operating profit to have declined slightly from the comparison period due to growth investments that increased cost levels. On the earnings day, our attention will be particularly...

@oscartaimitarha : could you explain what the large one-off expenses are related to? Hi @Osinkoseilaaja, Sakari Järvelä commented on this during the earnings presentation as follows: These are mainly related to strategic projects completed during the quarter, as well as partly to...
