LapWall operates in the building products industry with several factories. The company manufactures wooden wall and ceiling elements in factory conditions for construction companies. The product range includes several standard products that are delivered and installed by the customer. The company's market area is Finland. LapWall was founded in 2011 and its headquarters are located in Pyhäntä, Finland.

In addition: our new wall element changes the way the building envelope for halls is implemented As I previously explained, the core of the new element is its physical size and concept.  The image below illustrates this concretely. It’s not just about a larger element – but about shifting the focus of construction from the building site to the factory. The new element height of up to 4.5 meters combined with its great length (up to ~13 m) means in practice: → more completed at once  → fewer joints  → building envelope closed significantly faster  What does this change in practice? • Up to ~25% more wall surface area per transport → a significant logistics advantage  • Larger element size → fewer installation seams and work phases  • Finished exterior and interior surfaces, windows and doors → the construction site is substantially simplified  • Possibility for load-bearing solutions → a more flexible and cost-effective overall package  Where is this most impactful? Especially in large hall-like projects where: → the schedule is critical  → the envelope needs to be quickly protected from the elements  → minimizing construction site phases brings the greatest benefit  What does this mean for the customer? → faster lead time  → lower construction site risk  → better overall cost  The first deliveries and feedback strongly support this development direction I mentioned earlier. Construction is not sped up by adding more work at the site – but by moving it away from the site, i.e., through the use of prefabricated products.

Thank you for the good questions. Tommi addressed these in the interview, but I will respond directly to a few points myself for further clarification. 1. New wall element product for hall construction We have already made the first sales and the first deliveries with the product, meaning it has successfully moved into the market and is no longer just a launch-phase opening. The key to the product is its physical size and concept, which allow for the efficient implementation of larger complexes than before. This practically opens up a new market for us in hall construction and significantly expands the scale of target projects. Demand has been very positive from the start, which confirms our view that the product meets a clear customer need. We expect the product’s significance to grow gradually during the year, especially towards the end of the year, as references increase and adoption expands. LapWall launches a new wall element solution for hall-like structures  2. Increase in NPS and customer feedback The rise in NPS to 62 is based on very concrete factors that are directly visible in daily operations:   Delivery reliability has improved   Quality is consistent and meets expectations   The price-quality ratio is perceived as competitive   Installation and site cooperation work smoothly   Communication is open and proactive   Customer feedback particularly emphasizes reliability, professionalism, and the functionality of the overall package. For us, this is not just a metric, but a direct indication that operational performance is at the right level. This is also evident in practice: as trust grows, the win rate improves, projects proceed more smoothly, and customer relationships deepen. The attached customer feedback and metrics illustrate this development well.  3. Ramp-up of the wall element line and component manufacturing We have progressed with the ramp-up systematically and in stages. The new assembly line has been in production test use with customer orders since week 6. The ramp-up was initially led by a 4-person team whose task was to ensure the line’s technical functionality, process flow, internal logistics, and the practical functionality of work instructions. Since week 17, the team has been strengthened with two additional people. Based on this work, we have made the decision that  → single-shift production will start as planned at the beginning of week 19. Regarding personnel:   No new recruitment has been needed   One shift is moving from the current wall element line to the new assembly line   The current line will continue with single-shift production for the time being   The skill level of the transferring personnel is high, and orientation for the new line is progressing as planned. The assembly line is divided into clear segments managed by designated team leaders—the same individuals who have been involved in the ramp-up from the beginning. This ensures continuity of expertise and a controlled startup. Crucially, we have had sufficient and correct resources to carry out the ramp-up at all times. The goal is not just a startup, but the controlled commissioning of the investment and raising production gradually to its full potential. The new production facility and assembly line have been built as a clear, phased entity where production progresses logically from component manufacturing to assembly and delivery:  The layout of Production Plant 3 illustrates the line structure and the phased production process. The structure enables a controlled ramp-up, smooth throughput, and gradual capacity increase without bottlenecks. Summary:  The ramp-up is not a single startup day, but a controlled process over several months that is progressing as planned and creates a strong foundation for controlled capacity growth and full utilization of the investment. Lapwall is really solid. The market conditions aren’t helping, and the new factory isn’t even operational yet, yet still, a good Q1 result and a strong forecast. When you add to this the potential for increased efficiency from the new factory and an eventually improving market cycle (on a 6-month to 2-year timeframe), the company’s outlook is excellent.
