The Transaction in brief  The agreed purchase price amounts to MSEK 634, on a cash and debt free basis, of which MSEK 595 will be paid in cash at closing and the remaining MSEK 39 will be payable in cash on 30 June 2025. Closing is expected to occur on 28 June 2024 and will be subject to certain customary conditions, including approval at a shareholders’ meeting.  In connection with the Transaction, Thunderful Group will fully amortise its existing revolving credit facility of MEUR 55 with Danske Bank.

If anyone still looks at Redeye’s target prices at all, they are Bear 25, Base 40, and Bull 60 SEK, while the share price is currently around 16 SEK. The interim report is out on August 21. I should download Planet of Lana from XBOX Game Pass since it got decent reviews and might suit my gaming taste.

Operating profit (EBIT) increased 71.0% to 143.1 MSEK (83.7), corresponding to an operating margin of 12.4% (6.0). Adjusted EBITDA increased 31.4% to 185.2 MSEK (140.9), corresponding to an adjusted EBITDA margin of 16.1% (10.2). Adjusted EBITA increased 40.9% to 165.7 MSEK (117.6), corresponding to an adjusted EBITA margin of 14.4% (8.5). Profit for the quarter amounted to 130.4 MSEK (50.0). Earnings per share after dilution amounted to 1.86 SEK (0.71). Cash flow from operating activities amounted to 406.3 MSEK (18.6). Consolidated cash and cash equivalents together with unutilised credit facilities amounted to 493.7 MSEK (122.2). Thunderful entered into an agreement regarding changes of additional earn-out component in relation to the acquisition of Coatsink Software Ltd. It’s worth remembering that Jumpship’s Somerville accounted for approx. 50% of EBIT in Q4; most of the game’s revenue was likely from the Game Pass payment. This was roughly the same amount paid for Jumpship at the time of purchase. Possible earn-outs of over 100 million SEK on top of that. The game has not been a critical success, and Jumpship has no other announced projects in the pipeline yet. One might ask if the acquisition was made in haste just to dress up the numbers on a one-off basis. At least inventory levels were brought down during Q4.
