I completely agree. I thought that salary costs + share-based payments had been calculated here, and that these would be unreasonable compared to other banks, but they haven’t even bothered to investigate that far. You can’t just argue that share-based payments shouldn’t be distributed, for example, just because the share price hasn’t developed as desired. It’s a bit like saying you’ll get 50% of your salary compared to peers if we’re doing badly; probably not the best way to turn the ship around.
