Alleima receives a large order for steam generator tubes in the Nuclear segment

Alleima

Alleima has received a large order for steam generator tubes (SGT) in the Nuclear segment, to a total value of approximately SEK 250 million. Alleima has recently announced a capacity expansion with the reopening of one of its SGT facilities in Sandviken, Sweden, and the order book continues to strengthen.

The order, from one of the world's leading suppliers of nuclear power equipment, is the second large order this year to a project in a nuclear power plant in North America. The order was booked in the fourth quarter of 2024 and will be reported in the Tube division. Deliveries are scheduled during 2027.

"We are proud to once again be the trusted supplier to our customer with our advanced steam generator tubes. With this order we are continuing to build our order book and securing our deliveries to be manufactured both using our current and ongoing expanded capacity. The pipeline looks promising, and we have further discussions regarding future power projects," says Nigel Haworth, President of Business Unit Energy, Tube division.
