ALMA MEDIA'S INVESTOR WEBSITE VOTED THE BEST AMONG MID CAP COMPANIES
Alma Media's investor website has been selected as the best in the Mid Cap category in Finland in the Best Investor Website competition organised by the Finnish Foundation for Share Promotion and the Finnish Association of Investment Analysts. The recognition continues the company's strong trajectory in investor relations, as Alma Media has received this distinction on several occasions in recent years. The award was announced at the Stock Exchange Gala held at Helsinki's Old Student House on 28 January 2026.
Teemu Salmi, Alma Media's Director of Investor Relations, who accepted the award, emphasises that continuous development is a core part of the company's investor communications.
"This recognition is extremely valuable to us. The investor website is one of our most important channels, and our goal is to ensure that investors can find the information they need quickly and reliably. We continuously develop the site and add new functionalities whenever they genuinely improve the user experience. Our aim is to make investor communications increasingly clear and value-adding," Salmi says.
The standard of investor relations in Finland is generally high and continues to improve. "It is important that the investment information provided in Finland is of the highest possible quality. This competition encourages all companies to enhance their practices. The purpose of an investor website is not merely to fulfil regulatory obligations: it must support investors in their decision-making."
The role of new technologies in investor communications is growing rapidly
Alma Media has invested in digital investor services, and the latest updates have brought a new generation of functionalities to the site. The most significant of these is the AI-based IR Chat, which enables users to search reports, releases and financial data using natural language. The chat is available both on the website and in the Alma Media IR mobile application, helping users find information quickly and guiding them to the right sources.
The website also features real-time share price and market data that update automatically while the Helsinki Stock Exchange is open, allowing investors to access an up-to-date market view without the need for external sources. In addition, the financial charts have been redesigned to be interactive and mobile-friendly, enabling users to compare annual performance, quarters and segment-specific data more clearly. Visual clarity and usability are increasingly important as mobile use grows, and content such as video interviews helps illustrate the broader context behind the figures.
