Press release

Aptahem to Participate at IOPC 2026 in Athens

Aptahem

Aptahem AB (publ), a clinical-stage biotech company listed on the Spotlight Stock Market that develops RNA-based treatments for acute thrombo-inflammatory conditions, today announced that CEO Mikael Lindstam and CMC Director Thomas Rupp will participate at the International Oligonucleotides and Peptides Conference, IOPC 2026, taking place June 9-11, 2026, in Athens, Greece.

IOPC 2026 brings together leading stakeholders from industry, academia, clinical development and the broader life science ecosystem within oligonucleotides, peptides and related therapeutic technologies.

Aptahem's participation is part of the Company's broader strategic efforts to increase international visibility for its lead candidate, Apta-1, and to establish new relationships that may support the Company's continued development. During the conference, Mikael Lindstam will engage with potential academic collaborators, clinical development partners and commercial stakeholders to explore opportunities that could contribute to Aptahem's future clinical and business development activities.

CEO Mikael Lindstam comments:

"IOPC is a relevant event for Aptahem, given its focus on oligonucleotides and the fact that we believe Apta-1 represents a highly interesting molecule due to its novel mechanism of action. Our goal is to interest people within the industry who understand the potential of aptamer-based therapies and who may contribute to the next phase of Aptahem's development."

Mikael Lindstam will be available for individual meetings during the conference to discuss Aptahem's development strategy, the potential of RNA aptamers in acute thrombo-inflammatory conditions, and possible academic partnerships, clinical collaborations and commercial opportunities. Thomas Rupp our CMC Director will also attend.
