<div class="abstract">Nacka, Sweden, January 17, 2023: Atlas Copco has acquired the operating assets of MedCore Services Inc., a medical gas service provider in the Province of Ontario, Canada.</div>MedCore Services Inc. was founded in 2010 and is based in Toronto, Canada. The company has 7 employees and had revenue of approximately 1.5 MCAD (around 10 MSEK*) in 2021.The company services piped medical gas equipment, including medical air systems, vacuum systems, and pipeline equipment. Customers are public healthcare and private clinics in Canada."MedCore Services Inc. is a respected company with an experienced service team," said Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique. "The acquisition will enable us to further strengthen our position as a leading service supplier of medical gas solutions in this key region in Canada."&nbsp;The purchase price is not disclosed.The acquired business will become part of the Medical Gas Solutions Division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.*Based on the average exchange rate in 2021.
