Creturner Group AB (the ‘Company’) has today been informed by the Swedish Companies Registration Office that the auditor has requested to resign. The auditor cites difficulties in cooperation and that dissatisfied shareholders have made threatening statements. The Company is reporting the matter to the police as defamation.
For some time now, the company has been aware that individuals active on social media forums have made blatant allegations about the company's management, governance and actions. These individuals have contacted the company's CEO, Chairman and Auditor, making accusations and asking questions about the allegations. The company has not discussed the issues or the resignation announced today with the auditor.
The limit has been reached when the actions extend beyond the forums and affect the company and its shareholders, creating perceived threats. Threats and harassment must never be tolerated. The company has today reported the defamation to the police and urged the auditor to do the same with regard to the threats.
The company has begun exploring options for a replacement for the auditor and will return to the matter.
