Auroora Yhtiöt Strengthens Its Electrification and Automation Segment: Acquires WestimQpower Oy, a Provider of Energy Infrastructure Solutions

Finnish expert in low, medium, and high voltage products, WestimQpower Oy, is joining serial acquirer Auroora Yhtiöt Oyj. The companies have signed an agreement under which Auroora will acquire the entire share capital of WestimQpower. The seller is the company's founder and CEO, Cecilia Westerholm, who will continue in her role driving the company’s growth as part of Auroora.

WestimQpower supplies high-quality products and solutions to industry, energy utilities, data centers, grid construction, renewable energy, energy storage, hospitals, and power plants. WestimQpower is known for its strong technical expertise, flexible project solutions, and comprehensive life-cycle after-sales services.

Founded in 2012, WestimQpower revenue in 2024 was approximately 6 million euros with an operating profit margin of 12%. The company employs six people.

"A strong center of expertise is emerging in Auroora's electrification and automation segment on a Nordic scale, already employing over 300 industry professionals. WestimQpower is an excellent addition, as its product expertise further strengthens our growth strategy, supported by the megatrend of electrification," says Antti Rauhala, CEO of Auroora Yhtiöt.

The companies in Auroora's Electrification and Automation segment develop energy-efficient technologies, smart electrical systems and grid solutions. The electrification of society and the transformation of the energy industry are advancing regardless of the economic cycles, supporting the segment's long-term growth. In addition to WestimQpower, the Electrification and Automation segment includes ARNON Oy, TKF Power Quality Oy, Sähkölandia Oy, and BTB Transformers Ab.

"We have developed WestimQpower with a long-term perspective and sought a partner with whom we can accelerate growth even further. Auroora's values and permanent ownership model convinced us. We are excited to continue our growth story as part of Auroora and leverage the group's broader expertise and networks," says Cecilia Westerholm, CEO of WestimQpower.

WestimQpower's employees will continue in their current roles, and the company will retain its own identity as part of Auroora's corporate network.
