BIMobject is accelerating its strategy to become the product data infrastructure for the construction industry. The company has now added three new data partners in project software: Nodon, Veriad and Plant, a market leader in climate calculations. The partnerships significantly expand the reach of manufacturers' product data and mark an important step in turning the ecosystem into concrete value for customers and the wider industry.
The construction industry is becoming increasingly dependent on structured, reliable and machine-readable product information. At the same time, manufacturers are still required to provide similar information to numerous platforms, databases and applications, while software providers spend significant resources collecting and maintaining product data themselves.
BIMobject's strategy is to simplify this landscape.
Prodikt is moving from being a traditional data provider for the construction industry to a data service where manufacturers can structure, validate and maintain their information once and make it available to an expanding ecosystem of applications, distributors and other data consumers.
The addition of Nodon, Veriad and Plant as data partners is an important validation of this strategy. Together, the partnerships strengthen Prodikt's presence in project workflows and ensure that the benefits of a connected data infrastructure are increasingly realised in the applications where construction professionals already work.
