Saniona has selected SAN2668 as its first-in-class clinical candidate for epilepsy, following strong preclinical results that demonstrated robust efficacy and improved tolerability when benchmarked against existing treatments. Earlier this year, the company also secured a global licensing deal with Jazz Pharmaceuticals worth more than 1 billion USD, strengthening its ability to advance internal programs.
