Byhmgard AB (publ) (“Byhmgard” or the “Company”) today finalized a new agreement in Finland, further strengthening its position in the Nordic energy market. The agreement comprises four Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects for the Finnish company Solarigo Systems Oy (“Solarigo”), with a total order value of approximately SEK 33 million.

Byhmgard continues its international expansion through an order valued at approximately SEK 33 million, comprising four BESS projects with a combined total capacity of 21 MWh. The order once again confirms Byhmgard’s ability to deliver tailored, large-scale energy storage solutions in the Nordic region.

“Several transactions within a short period of time demonstrate the direction we are heading and our ability to deliver scalable BESS solutions in line with the growing demand for energy storage,” says Christian Byhmer, CEO of Byhmgard.

In December 2025, Byhmgard signed its first order relating to BESS projects for Solarigo, at that time valued at approximately SEK 43 million. Today’s order, valued at approximately SEK 33 million, comprises four BESS projects located in Sulkava, Rantasalmi, Juva and Hirvensalmi, designed to be integrated with existing solar power plants.

“This delivery represents an additional order from Solarigo and confirms our strong market presence in Finland,” says Christian Byhmer, CEO of Byhmgard.

Through these projects, Byhmgard provides energy storage solutions that contribute to increased flexibility and stability of the electricity grid, while enabling more efficient utilisation of renewable power generation. The facilities are optimised to proactively stabilise Fingrid’s electricity grid through essential frequency regulation and frequency restoration services.

Byhmgard continues to see growing interest in large-scale BESS solutions in Finland and across the Nordic markets and looks forward to the continued rollout of projects together with Solarigo.

“This marks the beginning of a collaboration that we see strong potential to develop over the long term,” concludes Christian Byhmer.
