Read the release

Daniel Juhlin is leaving his role as CEO of Plantasjen and Plantasjen's Board member Christer Åberg is taking over as acting CEO until a permanent replacement assumes the role. After the end of this interim assignment, Christer will return to his work as an ordinary Board member of Plantasjen.

"We would like to thank Daniel for his hard work and positive contribution to the company during a challenging period. Board member Christer Åberg will now assume the position of acting CEO. Christer has, with a documented history of strong leadership in the consumer and retail industry, a very suitable profile to strengthen the Plantasjen's board and as acting CEO take on this assignment. His previous operative experiences include many years of management positions at Unilever and Orkla, as well as CEO of Hilding Anders and Arla Foods AB. Christer most recently served as CEO of McDonald's Nordic," says Anders Slettengren, Vice President of Ratos and responsible for Plantasjen.

Ratos became an owner in Plantasjen, the Nordic region's leading chain for sales of plants and gardening accessories, in 2016. The company has around 140 stores in Norway, Sweden and Finland and a primary focus on consumers. Plantasjen has approximately 1,300 employees and sales of SEK 4 billion for the rolling 12-month period ending 30 September 2018.
